Very clean and well maintained restaurant. Pizza's were prepared at a cooking station in the center of the resturant. This was great as you could watch them make the food. I noticed they used fresh ingredients. The pizzas were also cooked in a clay oven. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We came with a toddler and our waitress was especially good with him.
You can't really go wrong with Pizza Express it's a good price and the food is lovely. The Richmond one has a pleasant layout with lots of space so you can always get a table whenever. The night we were there they had some live music, a lady singing with a gentleman on guitar. The ambience was good and suited the meal.

Good premises but... The location is great. It's an old pub that has been very well modernised while retaining the old frontage. It's all very smart, clean and comfortable. The food is the standard Pizza Express fare, a good selection of tasty dishes but mostly pizzas. All the food is available to eat in or for take away, which a large number of locals go for. The 'but' is the table tops. Every table has a white marble top. Very smart looking, easy to keep clean and complimenting the decor. But marble conducts heat very well - that's why it was traditionally used for counters in butcher's and dairies. In a restaurant though marble table tops result in cold food. The moment the plate hits the table the food starts to cool, rapidly. If it were not for the marble tables I'd be giving 4 stars. However, cold food is not to my liking so Pizza Express gets just 3 stars.
Terrific Pizza Express - comfortable, nicely located and Olivia was a terrific waitress. And it goes without saying that the food was amazing! Highly recommended restaurant.

A really good branch of Pizza Express with consistently good food and consistently good service. Pleasant enough surroundings. Gets very busy on rugby days. Lighting is a bit fierce: you're either in a spotlight or the dark. But if that's the only complaint about a restaurant then it's obviously pretty good.
Pizza express is one of my favourites. The vibe, staff and quality food is basically a massive thumbs up, however if your vegan you are in luck. Being vegan is sometimes a struggle, but Pizza Express has it sorted, their pizza is amazing (and finish it off with a delish dessert)!
