I've been a member here for a while now and the facilities are brilliant. The Boathouse is nice with a range of sailing dinghies available, though the wind on the river can be hard to read. The pool is good with nice changing rooms as well as a great gym upstairs. You can find Lensbury tennis courts on the grounds and across the road, but you may need to call and book a court if you are going at a busy time. There is a range of different court types from clay to grass. Overall, the Lensbury has great sporting facilities and I imagine I will be a member for a while to come.
Happened to stay here 4 the hottest week in the UK ever (I'm exaggerating a little) and my room and some of my co-workers rooms did not have air conditioning. I also somehow got a bug bite while sleeping. Has some cool recreational things to do like kayaking.

The receptionists are so welcoming, very friendly. From day one they very accommodating. Fell in love with rooms. The breakfast is lovely, fresh. My wife is mildly celiac and they made her a gluten free breakfast each morning of our stay. So they are very accommodating to dietary needs, you do need to tell them when you book, so they know. You can order your breakfast in your room too. They do have disabled friendly rooms too, you need to notify them. Very clean! Would definitely go back.
Nice hotel with good facilities. Excellent location. Staff and facilities very good. Room was very clean, bathroom could be a bit fresher. Our room on the third floor was nice but slightly slanted floor, I guess due to the age of the building and floors were creaky which was a bit annoying when trying to sleep. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Great location near the Thames. Stunning views from the hotel. Well maintained and managed.

Pub food and nice, well-kept ales. Oddly, if the restaurant is empty on a week night we are never allowed to sit there if we just want drinks and the bar area is full. A little more flexibility needed there.
Excellent well run pub with great staff. Also very generous when getting involved in local community events. Thank you!

Lovely gastro pub tucked away in an alley leading down to the Green. Unprepossessing at the front but hiding a delightful garden and roof terrace behind. First class food and wine list. Service was outstandingly attentive. Cannot recommend too highly.
Had a really pleasant Sunday roast here. The service was friendly and food was tasty. A decent amount of gravy which is something I always look for in a roast. There isn't loads of space so the environment can be a little rambunctious when it's busy but they have a garden so I'm sure on warmer days there's a lot more space. I'll return here for a roast in the future.

We stayed nearby and visited The Crown a couple of times - good food, good service, clearly a popular local venue. The indoor space is large and comfortable and the big garden is lovely! It was busy with cyclists and families and friends on the Sunday afternoon that we were there. We stopped by for a late pint and glass of wine later in the week and the garden was quieter. It was nice to sit out in the darkening evening and enjoy the atmosphere.
A huge bar with function rooms and a terrific garden. Very welcoming staff. Good selection of beers. Very good food. Highly recommended.

Abi is a fantastic host who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Some wine, fruit and chocolate are provided as well as a handy bottle of milk in the fridge! The Garden House is ideally located to explore Teddington and the surrounding area, including Twickenham.

What a lovely house very welcoming and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money especially considering the location. If you are looking for facilities a top hotel will offer then you are going to be disappointed. However if all you require is a clean house with comfortable beds for an amazing rate and a friendly no fuss landlady then this is the place for you. My partner and I spent 3 nights there culminating in the Rolling Stones gig at Twickenham, Abigails is literally 20mins walk from the Stadium so whether it's Rugby or Gigs this is the place to stay as far as convenience is concerned. So thank you again Kathy we will surely return.
Well decorated, spotlessly clean and warm with an owner who provides a caring welcome to guests, this guesthouse accommodation offers excellent value. There are numerous eating places in close proximity and Twickenham railway station is within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
